It is a proud moment for us when the hard work we put into growing our fruit is recognized on an international scale. This season, we reached an incredible milestone: our premium Mahachanok mangoes made their way to the UK and were the star of a special promotion at Costco!
A Historic Milestone in London
On May 18th, the Thai Trade Centre, London (Office of Commercial Affairs, Royal Thai Embassy) officially teamed up with Costco UK for an unprecedented event to bring the ultimate Thai mango to British shoppers.
We were thrilled that our seasonal Mahachanok mangoes were selected to represent the very best of Thai agriculture. To celebrate this first-of-its-kind collaboration, the event at Costco’s UK Headquarters in Watford was presided over by a very special guest of honor: H.E. Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, Ambassador of Thailand to the UK.
Why the Mahachanok?
If you've never tried a Mahachanok mango, it is truly something special. Known for its distinctively elongated shape and a beautiful skin that blushes from yellow to pinkish-red when ripe, it is a feast for the eyes.
But the real magic is the flavor. During the in-store tasting event, UK shoppers got to experience exactly what makes this variety a premium favorite:
