The achievement was recognised during a meeting between Mr. Soonthorn Sritawee, our Owner and Managing Director, and Napaporn Rattanametta, Technical Key Manager for the Asia Region.

In its announcement, GGN label confirmed that Blue River had achieved Chain of Custody certification for its fruit and vegetable packing houses. Together with our Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) certificate and GLOBALG.A.P. Risk Assessment on Social Practice (GRASP) letter of conformance, this qualified us to use the GGN label.

What the GGN label means

The GGN label helps shoppers identify produce grown through certified farming processes. The standards behind it cover food safety, environmental responsibility, workers’ well-being and supply chain transparency.

Through the GGN label portal, shoppers can find farm and business profiles to learn more about where their produce comes from. Products can carry the label only when the relevant certification and licensing requirements are met throughout the supply chain. Learn more about the GGN label.

For importers and retailers, this information helps them assess a supplier’s production practices and certification coverage when deciding what to source.
